Is General David Petraeus a Prophet?

The COGs love to insist that they can see the future. They will even quote some old article of theirs to insist they can predict the future.

But what about David Petraeus? Could he do something like that as well?

The following is from the recently released book Islamic State: Rewriting History by Michael Griffin.

Two years later [2009], with the flow [of foreign fighters heading to Iraq through Syria] continuing, General David Petraeus, commander of US forces, predicted: 'In time, these fighters will turn on their Syrian hosts, and begin conducting attacks against Bashar al-Assad's regime itself.' (Chapter 2.)

How prescient.

How will the COGs explain away such accurate and far sighted words as those?
